Loving Traditions

Easter week is here and since the outside is not tempting me to go outside, I decided to make the inside tolerable.
When I was a little girl my grandma always made hot cross buns for Easter Week. She really made them for Good Friday. With the bad weather the other day I decided to make some for the fam.

It is fun to make something that brings back memories of someone you love. The smell of the spices in the bread and kneading the dough was a welcome feeling. The boys always enjoy helping so I had to find something for them to do also. They painted eggs and had so much fun. The buns were delicious and I wish I would have doubled the batch! Maybe if I get the energy I can make one more batch for Easter.

Happy Easter to all this holiday is so fun to share with family and friends. The meaning of Easter and why we celebrate Easter is all the best things about life! I feel so grateful for the Savior and his love he has for everyone.
