We had a great Easter. Even though it was too early! Did I mention that a week later he had 7 inches of snow at our house! Honestly are we all dying of global warming?

Max Attack is having a rough week!

Poor Max he is having a rough time this week! He had a cavity that was filled today! Amazingly he was perfect at the dentist! I think he was done in about 20 minutes! I sat in the waiting room and was expecting to hear screaming at any minute but he was great! Maybe it was the bribe. After the dentist is when the problem occurred! Since his cheek was numb he bite it really hard! Now he is all swollen. I hope he gets better soon. we love our little Man! Dumb mom didn't think to tell her child to not chew his numb cheek off! Moral of the story tell your kids not to bite their numb cheek or don't get a cavity!

Rachel in Iraq

Here is a picture of my niece Rachel in Iraq. She is eight years younger than me so sometimes our relationship is more sisterly that an aunt niece thing. She is full time army and is currently in Iraq until the fall.

She is learning alot and is excited to be home at the end of the year for awhile. This picture I believe in from a small village in Iraq. she was sent on mission to examine a women since the male soldiers were not able to touch her. The people in the village kept asking to see her hair color and her eyes! She thinks she is the first female solider they had ever seen! At one point she thinks they were trying to arrange a marriage for her with one of their sons! She could only take pictures of the kids. It is not accepted to take pictures of women. We love her lots and miss her so much! God Bless you Rachel!

How bout them Jazz!

If you know Ben at all you know he is obsessed with the Utah Jazz! We do not miss games at our house EVER! Well the obsession has thus far been passed down to Max. Rye is spending the night at her grandmaz. So I am having a quiet night but the boyz are watching the Jazz. Ben cheerz for the game while Max actz it out on the rug. He likez to pretend to shoot when they do. I think he might understand the game a little more than most people. For Max's birthday we had to have a Jazz cake. Everyday is usually a struggle for him if he is not wearing Jazz clothes. The other day at a Fanzz store Max runs up to me, "MOM I NEED A DERON WILLIAMS SHIRT!" I being mom said no! But to no onez surprise Ben took him to a game last week and what does Max come home with a Deron Jersey. Which he has preceded to sleep in every night for the next week! Sometimes when Max is asked who his favorite play is my fav response is "The Bear". I love my boyz. They sure do love them some Jazz!

Glad she listens!!!

This weekend the kids are out for Spring Break and with the weather better they are able to play in the yard. We don't allow the kids to be in the front yard when we are not outside. This is hard sometimes when the neighbor boys are playing at our house. This day they had found the jeep to drive and were driving it in a circle around the house. Rye wanted to just run around the house with them. I gave her the speech about not talking to strangers and not to go with anyone under any circumstances. After the talk she has had about 10,000 times she headed to play. I went outside to check on her and she was nowhere to be found. When I came inside she was out of breath and looked terrified. I asked her what as wrong. She proceeded to tell me how someone had tried to "get her" My first honest reaction was she was over exaggerating. I asked if she was telling the truth and she assured me yes. Now my mind is starting to race is their really a creep out in the neighborhood that is looking for kids? So she stayed inside and we went back to house duties. About 30 minutes later I get a call from the neighbor. She told me how her husband felt horrible because he had pulled the car up to the the house. He wanted to ask her if it was ok the boys were playing with the jeep. Rye being the smart kid she is interpreted his talking to her as stranger danger and ran like the wind into the house. Make a long story short the neighbor unnecessarily felt bad for scaring her and she did the right thing! (sort of)
